Welcome to the Center for Interventions to Enhance Community Health (CiTECH) at the University of Pittsburgh!
CiTECH is a unique partnership between the School of Social Work and the Department of Psychiatry dedicated to community behavioral health services.
Mental and behavioral health are cornerstones of a good quality of life, yet most people cannot obtain effective, evidence-based behavioral health services in the community when they need them.
CiTECH’s mission is to enhance the quality and length of life of individuals living with behavioral health conditions through innovative community-based interventions.
The first collaboration of its kind between a School of Social Work and Department of Psychiatry, CiTECH aims to bridge the science-to-service gap by integrating research and practice in the community.
